Hi everyone! The egg face mask is all you need for radiant and beautiful skin. Eggs are a great natural way to achieve clear and radiant skin. Here’s how to make an egg face mask that solves your skin problems.
Would you like a natural, cheap and easy way to slow down aging without having to apply a mountain of chemicals to your face? Look no further than your refrigerator. An egg face mask may be just what you need.
Whether you suffer from oily skin, acne, and blackheads, or the first wrinkles, eggs are a way to nurture your skin and solve all problems.
Egg face mask – what are the advantages?
So what can an egg do for your face and why is an egg face mask so effective? For starters, the proteins in eggs are responsible not only for narrowing pores but also for skin regeneration, which can be useful if you want to get rid of acne scars, for example. They also help regenerate skin cells, which alleviates wrinkles in the long run. Eggs can also have a preventive effect against pimples on the face because fewer enlarged pores mean less possibility for bacteria to make a mess on your skin.
At the same time, eggs are rich in potassium and magnesium, which nourish and hydrate the skin, which gives you a radiant complexion and slows down aging. The useful nutrients found in eggs do not stop there, because they also contain collagen and vitamin A, which is necessary for the healing of scars and burns. Even if you use them in combination with some other natural ingredients, eggs can solve many of your problems.
In addition to the above, eggs can also solve the following skin problems:
- Facial hair. Eggs can also function as a natural depilatory product. If you apply a little egg white face mask and put a napkin or tissue on top and let it dry, you can easily remove excess hair from your face.
- Excess blackheads. In a similar way, you can get rid of blackheads on the face. The ingredients from the egg also pull the blackheads to the surface because they dry the pores and thus push the plugs to the top, from where they are easier to pull out.
- Puffiness around the eyes. An egg face mask can also help you get rid of dark circles and puffiness. All you have to do is massage a little egg white under your eyes with your fingers, let it dry, and then rinse with lukewarm water.
Natural face mask of eggs is easily made at home. You should know that these masks are usually made of egg whites. The reason for this lies in the fact that egg whites are better suited for oily skin, which more often has problems such as acne and pimples caused by excess sebum. Some of them are simpler than others – for example, only one egg white will be enough for one. And egg whites alone contain enough nutrients for your skin, and you can use them every day, morning or evening, whichever suits you best.
It is easy to prepare: take the egg whites, separate them from the yolks, and whisk to get a foam. Then apply this face mask on cleansed skin and leave it on for about 15 minutes. Basically, when you feel that the egg white face mask tightens your skin, you should take it off by washing it off.
Egg white mask for pimples
Here is a cheap and useful mask that can help you get rid of pimples.
For it, you will need one egg white, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, and half a teaspoon of honey. Lemon and honey help the skin because they have antibacterial properties, so they prevent acne. Lemon also helps a radiant complexion because it prevents discoloration, while honey has a natural antiseptic effect.
How to make this mask? Simply whisk the egg whites and lemon juice until you get a mixture. Lemon is a great way to mask the smell of a live egg, so you can add it to other masks. Add honey to this foam and mix everything together. Before applying the mask, wash your face with warm water.
This way, you will open the pores, so the egg face mask will work better. Apply the egg white mask with your fingers or a cotton ball, but carefully avoid the parts around the eyes and lips, because the skin there is naturally dry. It is best to start from the chin and apply the mask on the whole face in a circular motion. Keep the mask on your face until it dries, which on average is reduced to some 10-15 minutes. After that, wash the mask with warm water in a circular motion with your fingers.
This strengthens the circulation, so the skin absorbs the ingredients better, and you can practically do a facial massage for yourself.
In addition to egg whites, you can also use yolks for skincare, especially if you are struggling with dry and sensitive skin. Egg yolks are richer in nutrients, so they nourish the skin more.
However, it can also burden oily skin and clog pores, which is not what you need. You can keep its influence under control depending on what you are mixing it with.
For example, you can make egg yolk face masks for different skin types.
- Dry skin – mix one egg yolk and half of the mashed avocado.
- Sensitive skin – whisk the egg yolks and plain yogurt, and you can also add honey if you want an even better effect.
- Normal skin – whisk one egg yolk with carrot juice (although you can just mash the carrot) and a little milk.
- Oily skin – whisk the egg yolks with a teaspoon of lemon juice and a teaspoon of honey.
Nourishing egg yolk face mask
There is one particularly good, tried, and tested recipe for a nourishing egg face mask, more specifically from the yolk. This mask is good for all skin types because it nourishes the skin and hydrates it naturally.
For it, in addition to one egg yolk, you need one banana and two teaspoons of olive or coconut oil. From bananas, first make porridge, which you can also make by hand, ie. with a fork, because the bananas are soft. Add egg whites and oil of your choice. Mix all this well until you get a mass without lumps. Thus mixed, the mask is ready for the face. Apply it with your fingers and let it stand for a while. How long you keep it on your face depends on your skin type. If you have oily skin, the mask should be kept shorter, approximately 10-15 minutes, while those with dry skin should keep this mask on their face for up to half an hour.
